This program is specifically designed for those of you who are interested both in exploring and practicing "hands-on" the Arts in Provence.

In Provence, where artists have long been intrigued by the color of light, you will be introduced to the art de vivre à la francaise by combining your passion for art with sightseeing, photography, pottery and painting. Under the guidance of local experts, you will be mentored in each creative field.

This one-week program of Discovery of the Arts in Provence, will take place from May 20-29 as well as September 22-October 1, 2005.

Participation will be limited to 20 participants with a minimum of 10 travelers.

Discovery of the Arts in Provence includes the following:

  • Pottery or painting workshops for 3 days.

  • Visit to a Santonery with a demonstration of production of this renowned Provencale art.

  • Sightseeing programs guided by a professional photographer who will help you capture magnificent pictures of Provence.

  • Visit to the ochre quarries in Roussillon.

  • Lecture on-site at the ochre quarries in Roussillon including a technical explanation of how the ochre is quarried and its refinement process.

  • Accomodation in a charming, Provencale hotel.

  • Breakfast daily and 4 dinners.
